Tom Anater

Vice President

Tom Anater

Tom has been an executive level businessman and business owner for the past 25 years. Having been associated with all phases of establishing, founding, developing and promoting a fledgling company into a thriving sound business has exposed him to many opportunities to learn first hand the formulas for success and persistence. Setting and achieving goals through the cultivation and training of committed team members has become a strong component of the skill set he brings to his clients.

Having remained single well into his adult life, most of his time and energy had been devoted to building and developing a successful business with emphasis on developing strong client relationships and building strong team identity within his organization. Four years ago, Tom met the woman God had planned for him and the two are the proud parents of a 3-year old boy, Maximilian Kolbe.

This new calling has led to leaving the business world behind and has afforded him the opportunity to devote his time to charitable causes and freed valued time in raising his son. Recognizing the fulfillment experienced in helping others he has grown active in various charitable organizations. The call to charity has led Tom to Kirby-Smith Associates where he can experience that fulfillment in helping Church communities grow their spiritual base and by extension, enable them to attain financial growth and sustainability.

Mr. Anater graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with emphasis on History, Economics and Psychology. Tom brings his many years of experience in management and relationship building to the Kirby-Smith team.

Together with his wife Mary, he is active in numerous civic and private enterprises focused on community and cultural improvement and promotion. They enjoy spending free time with their son visiting museums and historic sites. On weekends you may find them fishing on the Susquehanna or puttering in the garden.
